The successful candidate will be responsible for setting experimental plans and directions; designing and simulating superconducting qubit circuits; developing measurement and control software; implementing calibration, automation, and benchmarking protocols; performing experiments; and analyzing and documenting results. Experience in some of all of these areas is an advantage, but we also expect that you will learn by doing. You will work with a team of experts in superconducting qubit theory, design, fabrication, and measurement, and a successful candidate will be excited to work collaboratively across this team. Members of the Technical Staff are expected to mentor and supervise more junior researchers, lead small teams of colleagues, and help shape future research directions.
