Donhee Ham group (https://www.donheehamlab.org) at Harvard University has openings for a number of postdoctoral positions for projects in semiconductor-driven nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and in quantum engineering. The first project develops small NMR systems based on semiconductor (CMOS & GaN) integrated circuits for applications in subsurface exploration, chemical/biological sensing, and high-fidelity medical imaging. The second project is focused on optically-detected NMR, in particular NMR based on quantum-coherently excited diamond NV electron spins coupled with nuclear spins. There also is a strong intellectual and experimental overlap between the two projects. Experiences in one of the following areas is desired: NMR, MRI, AMO physics, electronics, and integrated circuits. Contact Prof. Donhee Ham (donhee@seas.harvard.edu) for questions.
